Sage Honey!

The same seasoning that makes fall taste delightful, Sage leaf honey helps just in time for sore throat season. This remedy can be taken in hot water and sipped slowly or it can be mixed with slippery elm bark powder made into little balls and sucked to soothe an inflamed throat. In a clean jar, add chopped fresh sage leaf to fill the jar and cover with honey. Fill jar to very top leaving no headspace. Let sit 6 weeks and then use the honey by the teaspoonful in hot water or just eat a teaspoon full to soothe that sore throat. Herbs are so versatile and delightful and helpful.
